The Catholic and Protestant pastoral care team at the University Hospital Graz supports people in a wide range of life situations. Pastoral care can be helpful and supportive for patients, their relatives, and also for hospital staff. Regardless of religious affiliation, we are here for everyone and can be contacted at any time using the phone number provided below. Our close collaboration with medical, nursing, and therapeutic services ensures comprehensive care that addresses the full range of our patients’ needs.
We offer:
- confidential conversations, attentive listening, and presence
- support in emotionally challenging situations
- guidance during times of crisis
- assistance with ethical decision-making
- spiritual support through prayer, blessings, personal conversation/confession, rituals, baptism, end-of-life blessings and accompaniment, bedside communion or Eucharist, and anointing of the sick
- help in establishing contact with other religious communities
