Arrival and Parking

• From the south via the A2 motorway: Take the Graz-Ost exit, then turn right and follow the signs for "LKH-Univ. Klinikum Graz".
• From the north via the A9 motorway: Enter Graz-Nord (Shopping Center Nord), then turn left and follow the signs for "LKH-Univ. Klinikum Graz".

Currently, more than 400 parking spaces are available on three levels, including eight designated accessible parking spaces, located near the entrance area.

The garage is fully accessible and connected to the grounds of the University Hospital Graz by a small pedestrian bridge. This bridge leads directly to:

• the Outpatient Clinic of the Division of Hematology at the University Department of Internal Medicine, and
• just behind it, the baby hatch at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This underground garage, accessible via Hilmteichstraße, offers 244 parking spaces across three levels. It is located directly beneath the Supply Center of the LKH-University Hospital Graz.

• Diagonally across from the garage, you will find the Division of Nephrology at the University Department of Internal Medicine.

The parking lot of the Department for Dental Medicine and Oral Health offers 70 parking spaces. Access is via Billrothgasse.
The grounds of the LKH-University Hospital Graz can be reached through the Dental Medicine building. The path leads directly to the "Butterfly Meadow", where you will find nearby:

• the Outpatient Clinic of the Division of Hematology (Department of Internal Medicine)
• the Department of Neurology
• the Department of Radiation Oncology
• the ENT Clinic (Otorhinolaryngology)

A small hill to the upper right of the Butterfly Meadow leads to:

• the Department of Blood Group Serology and Transfusion Medicine
• the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery
• the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine

A total of 273 parking spaces are available in the outdoor area of the LKH-University Hospital Graz. Please park only within the blue-marked spaces. Parking outside these areas will result in a €50 fine.

Parking is free if you exit the hospital grounds with your vehicle within 30 minutes. From the 31st minute onward, parking fees apply — see the fee schedule for details.

Holders of a disability permit according to § 29b of the Austrian Road Traffic Act (StVO) are exempt from parking fees.
Simply present your permit at the main gate (Hilmteich entrance) or at the information desk in the Stiftingtal parking garage, and you will receive a free exit ticket.

Ticket machines can be found at:

• on the right side, just before the exit barrier
• at the Stiftingtal parking garage
• at the Children’s Center
• at the Supply Center

Please note: The 200 parking spaces in this underground garage do not belong to the LKH-University Hospital Graz. For information about parking fees, please refer to the signage on site.
